Bárbara León is the designer and artisan behind Re_
Through her activity, Barbara encourages us to think about how we use and interact with the products we own.
Each pair of footwear produced at Re_ is unique and maintains the essence of all the reused components that make it up.
At Re_, we foster the creation of a community focused on the circular economy.
Bárbara León has a degree in fashion and extensive experience in shoe-making, design and styling. Her relationship with fashion begins from childhood in Andalusia around a table where her grandmother and aunts taught her what she really knows about fashion crafts while they made or arranged her first party dresses or favorite clothes.
Bárbara León is at the forefront of research and implementation of innovative footwear reconstruction methods and the circular economy.

Bárbara León es la diseñadora y artesana detrás de Re_
A través de su actividad, Bárbara nos desafía a repensar el significado del consumo y la forma en que interactuamos con los productos que poseemos.
Cada par de calzado que se produce en Re_ es único y mantiene la esencia de todos los componentes reutilizados que lo componen.
En Re_ creemos en la construcción de una comunidad en torno a la economía circular. Bárbara León es licenciada en moda y con larga experiencia en fabricación de calzado, diseño y estilismo. Su relación con la moda comienza desde la infancia en Andalucía alrededor de una mesa donde su abuela y tías le enseñaron lo que realmente sabe sobre artesanía de moda mientras confeccionaban o arreglaban sus primeros vestidos de fiesta o su ropa favorita.
Bárbara León es pionera en la práctica de reconstrucción de calzado y está en la vanguardia del movimiento de calzado
sostenible.
